Growing up in the city of Chicago within a lively Italian family of six, Dino discovered his passion for art at a young age. His early ambitions were not just to create but to innovate—always striving to craft something truly unique.

Dino's journey eventually led him to a flourishing career at BMT, where he spent over two decades developing globally recognized toys, honing his craft and influencing the artistic landscape.

Today, he shares his wealth of knowledge and passion for creative expression at Columbia College.

Off campus, Dino is a devoted father to four daughters, each of whom has inspired even more magic into his life; much like the fairies that populate his backyard—a testament to his imaginative spirit. His personal and professional journeys have been shaped by resilience, having bravely overcome leukemia, which adds a depth to both his life and his art.
